Q: How long does my song stay on the playlist?
Five weeks on the main So Hot playlist. We include from 20 to 30 new tracks each week, our Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube playlists holds about 150 tracks. That means, for the first week - you are in the top part of our playlist. Second week you'll make way for the new additions and move towards the middle of the playlist. Last week, you're down to the bottom of the playlist. After that, you're removed from the So Hot - Hits Weekly playlist. But, you can remain in the genre specific playlist as long as there is place in the top 100.
Your music can be used for our playlists in the future. For example on holidays, a Christmas playlist might find a place for your track once again even if it's not new.
Your video also gets a feature on our Facebook page, a Tweet, whatever we can. Please keep in mind - it all depends where your music is available. If you're not on Youtube - a Youtube playlist inclusion is not possible. If you're not on Spotify - you can't be added to this playlist and so on...
Q: Can you help me with setting up my distribution?
Sorry, no. You are responsible for your own Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music and other channels. We recommend using Distrokid. This is the easiest way to get to all the streaming platforms. Our link also entitles you to 7% off your first year membership.
Q: Do I need a video?
No. But keep in mind - for best results, be everywhere. From Spotify to Youtube, from Apple to Soundcloud.
Q: Is this free?
Yes, we do not have any plans at the moment to make you pay for anything
Q: How many views/streams can I get?
That's a great question that cannot be answered. As our community grows, your views and streams will grow. Help us spread the world and you'll grow your audience.

For now, every Monday
Q: How come I only see stars on the list?
It simply means, there were not enough submissions or poor quality by hobby producers / young artists. So we had to go with new songs we get from the labels or other playlist creators.
Q: Labels are priority, right?
Wrong. Everyone gets through the same screening process, no matter who it is. It has to be a good song. Simple. We prefer unknown stars where we can help them.
Q: Can I submit the same song multiple times if it gets rejected?
Please don't. If it's out, it's out. You are welcome to send your other tracks.
Q: Can I ask for a repost of my previously published track?
Meaning... after five weeks you'd want to be featured again? It wouldn't be fair to the others waiting in line. But you could buy your spot as advertising.
